Get Involved!
How can I get involved with the IRHS band program?
There are plenty of ways to get involved and here just a few:
Chaperoning events and/or bus rides to away games & competitions
Helping load and unload our 55' semi trailer at performances
Helping set up and tear down events
Helping maintain our band website
Joining a band committee
Helping work our hosted events like March the Ridge in the fall or the Ironwood Ridge Pageantry Arts Classic in the spring
Working concessions at home games
Cleaning uniforms
Repairing uniforms
Being part of the pit & prop moving crew for shows
Building props
Setting up drum major podiums at shows
Serving meals at band events
Cooking meals via our awesome grill
Most importantly attending our monthly band booster meetings!
Ironwood Ridge Music Association (IRMA): a.k.a: our "band boosters"
All successful band programs have incredibly strong band booster programs, which have the primary goal of helping provide an amazing high school band experience for our students. The boosters help via fundraising, hosting events, and volunteering time to make sure our program runs like a well-oiled machine!
